Donna Zimmerman, RN, BSN Director of Nursing/Owner
Donna has worked as an RN in Northern California for most of her life. She graduated from Chico State University in 1992 with a Bachelor of Science degree in nursing and has over 20 years of diverse nursing experience. Donna loves nursing and enjoys helping individuals make informed decisions about their health and well-being.
Katriena VanDeVelde, RN, Staff Nurse
Katriena is a Butte College graduate and was an LVN to RN student. She is now finishing up the RN to BSN program at California State University, Chico. Katriena started nursing school over ten years ago and has been working as an RN for the past six years. She chose nursing as a career path because of her life experiences with nurses and especially nurses, aides caring for her when hospitalized as a child for a ruptured appendix. They made me feel safe and cared for, and I wanted to be able to provide that sense of security and well-being for others.
BrightStar Care of Chico provides 24/7 to Hourly Private Duty Home Health Care and Medical Staffing Services.
We offer support around the clock, providing a full continuum of private duty health care services, skilled home nursing and medical staffing services. We proudly serve Greater Forest Ranch, Chico, Durham, Biggs, Hamilton City, Glenn, Butte City, Gridley, Corning, Orland, Oroville, Paradise, Magalia, and Willows areas.
