Memorial Day Events in the area:
Chesapeake
11:00 am - The Chesapeake Mayor's Commission will be hosting the annual Memorial Day Ceremony at the Veterans Memorial in front of City Hall.
Norfolk
2:00 pm - Annual Wreath Laying Ceremony at Wisconsin Square (312 w. Bute Street). The city of Norfolk will honor the sacrifice of the members of the US Armed Forces that have lost their lives for our freedom.
Portsmouth
10:00am - Memorial Day Parade. The parade will start on High St and go to Crawford St.
Virginia Beach
12:00pm - Tidewater Veterans Memorial (1000 19th St.) This event will feature some fly-overs and a 21-Gun-Salute, There will also be a reading of names for those who have lost their lives.
