Our Staff at BrightStar Care® South Dayton - Warren County - West Chester

We opened BrightStar Home Care of Warren County/South Dayton in August of 2009. It was my first experience in healthcare, which can be a daunting industry.  Despite my lack of knowledge and experience, I felt called to start the business.  It seems God often chooses the most unlikely candidates.    I began with a strong desire to impact the lives of others.  Work is often our connection to other people and BrightStar provides the opportunity to improve the lives of our clients, while helping our staff to grow and excel.  Now 15 years into this mission, we continue to experience daily the beautiful gift that serving another person provides.

I grew up in Warren County and moved back here 21 years ago with my beautiful wife, Kelly.  We have been blessed with 3 wonderful children who are now moving or have moved out on their own.  As my parents who live nearby get up in age, I see more clearly how important it is for families to have care they can really count on.  This is our ministry and our blessing.  God would have it no other way.

I have fifteen years of experience in the healthcare field. I started as a state-tested nurse aide and went on to become a Licensed Practical Nurse. Then Nursing led me into medical recruiting. It's about making a difference one life at a time. I am an Ohio State, Cincinnati Bengals, and Reds fan. I enjoy spending time with my teenage son and French Bulldog. 

Steve comes to BrightStar Care with over 30 years of healthcare experience. Most recently he was the VP of Operations for Healogics, Inc.  He spent 22 years developing and operating Wound Care Centers for the treatment of Chronic Non-healing Wounds. Steve also has various experience managing physician practices in Primary Care, Orthopedics, Dermatology, Cardiology, Plastic Surgery and has developed and operated Ambulatory Surgery Centers. He has been a consultant for Ernst and Young and PricewaterhouseCoopers and has earned a master’s in Business Administration and a master’s in Healthcare Administration from St. Louis University.

Françoise has been a member of the Brightstar family since 2022.  Prior to her role as director of nursing, Françoise was the RN Case Manager at this Brightstar location.  Françoise earned her BSN from Wright State University in 2009 and has worked as a med-surg nurse and sexual assault nurse examiner at Miami Valley Hospital. Her favorite part of working in home health care is getting to know the clients on a personal level and work with some wonderful nurses and caregivers. Françoise and her husband, John are the proud parents of three daughters, one dog and three cats.  She loves to travel around the world, explore new foods and enjoy the company of her family.

Pam has 28 plus years in health care in practice management in a variety of settings. Pam developed a strong love for patients during the 15 years she worked in the mental health arena. She has realized the struggle that families have each day with finding care. Working at Brightstar gives her the opportunity to help families in their time of need. Pam’s favorite quote is “Don’t Aspire to Be the Best on the Team, Aspire to Be the Best for The Team” Pam and her husband David enjoy animals of all sizes and love to travel out west.
