For many years the Parkinson's Association of San Diego has offered free mobility devices – walkers, rollators, wheelchairs, canes, and much more – to people in San Diego County impacted by Parkinson's. This donated equipment is generally lightly used, although some is new.
Recently, management of the program was taken over by Harmony Home Medical and we now have an online catalog of the equipment. You can see the catalog on our website and, if you need something, you can request it for free.
The catalog is set up like an online store however, everything is priced at $0. So you will "buy" the item but there is no cost and you do not have to enter a credit card.
After you reserve your mobility device, you will be contacted by Harmony Home Medical to schedule a pickup at their store. They can also arrange delivery for a small fee.
