At BrightStar Care in Madison - WI, owned by Jeff Tews and Susan Rather, our home care agency provides quality home care, caregivers, and medical staffing solutions to families and businesses in the Madison, WI area. We offer compassionate care, peace of mind and exceptional service — any time, any place.

Susan Rather and Jeff Tews, have an innate desire to help others. As fate would have it, their caring nature is what brought them together: they met while participating in a bike ride to support Multiple Sclerosis. A few years later, they married and teamed up to not only be biking companions, but also business owners. When they heard about BrightStar Care, they decided it was the perfect opportunity to help families and create jobs in their community.

Susan, Jeff and their staff are committed to compassionate care and exceptional service. Their core values are rooted in the firsthand knowledge of how difficult it is to find quality professionals to help seniors remain independent in their homes, and how tough it is to manage care when families are busy or geographically removed. They opened their Madison office in December 2006, an office in Janesville in July 2007, followed by a Baraboo office in September 2009, and finally an office in LaCrosse in 2012.
In 2014 BrightStar opened it's very first assisted living and memory care community in Madison, WI.
Jeff and Susan officially took over the ownership of BrightStar Senior Living in 2015.
With a current staff of over 300, they have served over 1000 families, and have provided temporary medical staff for dozens of facilities.
