I enjoyed attending the Veteran's Day service at the American Legion in Bryan. Such a great group of people gather weekly at the American Legion Post 159 on Thursday mornings for coffee, and I have been a few times to try and make some friends. Since my husband is an Air Force Veteran, I qualify to join the Auxiliary there and will be submitting my application before the end of the year. The whole group of Veterans and Auxiliary members are so cheerful and proud and simply a joy to be around. They have already shown honor by serving, but they continue to contribute to the community and support both financially and through on-going volunteer efforts. The Veteran's Day ceremony was inspiring and uplifting. Through our service at BrightStar Care, I hope we can demonstrate our sincere appreciation for the pride and bravery that these men and women have shown in their lives.
