Calling all baby boomers, seniors: 'Lifestyle Expo' is coming to Expo in Idaho!
Boise — Coming to Expo Idaho on Saturday, Oct. 20: the Annual Golden Years Lifestyle Expo. The event is free and open to the public from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., covering a broad spectrum such as: healthy living, retirement and planning, according to a press release about the event.
There will be over 100 exhibits and information on: RV’s, healthcare, home remodeling, activities and entertainment. You can check out local artisans and crafters plus sample sweets and savories. In addition, the expo will offer free health screenings including: balance evaluations, bone density and hearing tests and skin damage checks by Treasure Valley Dermatology and Skin Cancer Center.
There will also be free educational seminars on topics such as: estate planning basics, Medicare 101, fracture prevention, senior travel tours, fracture, balance, fall and risk prevention strategies and wellness using oils. Hands-on workshops range from making your own succulent arrangement to learning how to create custom cupcakes from a pro. There will also be a free game of bingo every fifteen minutes and a chance to win prizes.
