The Union Leader held the 4th annual Silver Linings Senior Expo
BrightStar Care of Bedford/Manchester participated in the Union Leader newspaper's Silver Linings Senior Healthy Living Expo held at the Executive Court Banquet Facility in Manchester. The attendance was great and there were many vendors that spoke about options available for the senior population.
The event had over 30 vendors that offered information on advanced directives, home care support, medical equipment, assisted living, community-based health and social services, estate planning, nursing homes, day programs/respite care, transportation, and nutrition.
There were also panel presentations and discussions on:
1. Estate planning, trusts, and leaving a legacy for your heirs
2. Creating an environment to enhance independence for people with dementia
3. Mental health and aging
4. The benefits of group travel and how to choose the right travel company
The venue had plenty of space between booths, and both vendors and attendees were required to wear masks. BrightStar Care of Bedford/Manchester was happy to be in attendance.
