BrightStar was wonderful in caring for my friend during home hospice. Office staff was responsive to any requests or changes. BrightStar provided caring aides who eventually provided around the clock care. They made it possible for my friend to die at home, as was her wish. We couldn’t have done it without Brightstar and are incredibly grateful to them. I can’t recommend BrightStar highly enough.

I feel fortunate to have found BrightStar through a friend's referral to help my father during hip surgery recovery. The BrightStar team has been caring and qualified to aid my father's recovery in his home with overnight care our family was not able to provide personally. They arrive on-time, share information between team members in a log book so each caregiver understands his progress day to day and what has changed in needed care level as he improves. My parents like all the qualified staff who have come to help and enjoy their company. The office staff is always helpful and nice to work with.

Late in December the good folks at Michigan Medicine said they could not discharge me to return to living alone at home -- it must be a rehab facility or home care. That was an easy choice, once I found BrightStar. They provided health care aides for ten days. Every single one of them -- and there were more than a few, one after and then after again another -- was pleasant, personable, happy to volunteer help for tasks I had not thought to impose on them, and skilled in the health-care aspects. I was completely comfortable with all of them. And the main office was very responsive to my needs, arranging uninterrupted coverage when some juggling of assignments was required. A good first choice.

During the last few months of my Father's life, the BrightStar team was kind, patient, and caring during his time in home hospice. They were available at all hours and weekends, and they respected the need for the family to visit and have private time with my Father. The owner and lead nurse also regularly communicated with my Mother and brought humanity to a very difficult time in our lives. We recommend their company and their team. We could not have made it through our ordeal without them.
