Peter Ngin is the CEO & Owner of the newly opened BrightStar Care of CA - Anaheim / Yorba Linda as of June 2024. Bringing more than 23 years of experience in marketing, sales, operations, and management for various healthcare and high-technology organizations.  A dynamic leader who is results-oriented with proven history of managing strategic initiatives across complex matrix organization through integrity and collaborative relationships while delivering value to customers.  Direct responsibilities encompassing strategy, planning, budget management, team building and management, program and project management, product / campaign go-to-market management, and vendor management.

After leaving Cambodia when he was a young child, Peter overcame many challenges and faced adversity before earning an MBA and entering the corporate world. Before beginning his entrepreneurial journey with BrightStar Care, Peter worked for UnitedHealth Group, focusing on the Medicare sector and specializing in Sales & Marketing and Digital operations.

Peter has always been passionate about building businesses and bringing quality healthcare to individuals. He has acted as a caregiver for his mother and younger sister over the years and understands the level of care and compassion individuals and their families need to age safely in place. Putting care above all, Peter was drawn to BrightStar Care’s higher standard of care, registered nurse oversight for all clients, and the brand’s franchise support model. Peter is looking forward to providing the greater Anaheim and Yorba Linda communities with a higher standard of home care.

Laura Garcia is an innovative Nurse Leader with 25 years of healthcare experience, her strengths according to Gallup is Strategic / Futuristic / Learner / Belief / Woo. Her healthcare experience includes The Joint Commission Program Development, Grant Writing, Leader of multiple services lines including inpatient and outpatient services for Critical Care, Diabetes and Heart Failure.  Proficient in front-line operations, strategic planning, continuous process improvement (LEAN), service line growth and improvement, productivity management, mentoring and education, recruitment / for diabetes and heart failure recognized nationally and care standards.  

Extensive achievements, awards, and breakthrough accreditations during her tenure with Tenet Healthcare and Memorial care. National Speaker for Diabetes for American Association of Diabetes Educator and National American Diabetes Care and Education Specialist Conference "Providing Inclusive Person-Centered Gestational Diabetes Care to Vietnamese and Hispanic Families Resulting in Healthier Babies” and Diabetes Management for The National Hispanic Medical Association in LA- documentary about “A Touch of Sugar” in the Hispanic community.

In her free time Mrs. Garcia enjoys cooking and beach walks with family and friends, most importantly with her five grandkids and hubby Mr. Leonel Garcia.

With over 10 years of experience in business development, Louis holds a degree in Business Administration from Cal State Fullerton, where he was actively involved as a student leader in both the business college and a fraternity. He began his career in the financial industry, working for companies such as Automatic Data Processing, Capital One, and Edward Jones. During this time, he discovered his passion for providing care, which led him to help launch a startup pharmacy in Orange County.

Louis subsequently joined United Healthcare, where he presented pharmacy services across California. Now, as the Business Development Manager at Brightstar Care, he is excited to leverage his expertise and enthusiasm to grow the business in Anaheim, Fullerton, Brea, Placentia, and Yorba Linda. In this role, he focuses on networking and presenting “higher standard” solutions to potential clients, empowering them to live their best lives.

Outside of work, Louis enjoys caring for his two rescue dogs and watching sports. With a strong passion for fitness and nutrition, he also likes to exercise and learn new meal-prepping techniques in his free time.
