Reviewed the plan I had put together and ensured it would be followed by the providers who came to our home Kelly, who is in charge of scheduling has been. fantastic.Due to unforeseen circumstances the schedule needed to be changed several times.Each time she accommodated my mother’s needs. BrightStar Care is overall a superior company to its competitors. I have used other Home Health Aide Companies for my parents in the past and this one exceeded all of my expectations. From my first contact with the company, when I was unsure how to support my Dad’s independent living, to now where my Dad is calling me to tell me what a great day he had with his Aide, I knew I had made the right choice with BrightStar. Sophia Cameron, our care coordinator was my first interaction with the company, and she has been our incredible guide throughout the process. She continues to remain involved in my Dad’s care, visits him and communicates with me regularly to make sure Dad is happy and getting what care he needs. Sophia’s continued kindness, professionalism, and involvement has been a game changer, and so important since Dad’s needs continue to change. I also want to point out that she is an incredible communicator especially with clients receiving care, understanding their desire for independence and the struggle with accepting help. Kellie, our scheduler has responded to my dad’s changing scheduling needs almost immediately, every time I have reached out. Again, an example of how well this company can support its clients in different ways. One final comment… my Dad who has always been independent until now has bonded with his Aides, is grateful for their devotion to his needs, and enjoys their company. I am a grateful Customer.

Reviewing Katie Reyes whom I met through her friend, John Gauthier, a representative at Silas Burke Sunrise Senior Care in Burke, VA, while searching for nursing care for my husband Max, 92. Katie helped me through the maze of phoning to the Veterans' Association, hospices and various caring outlets. I have quoted her advice so often to friends and family that they often now way, "What does Katie say about that?", and "Ask Katie what to do next!" She is an invaluable source of helpful advice and has been a phone call away when questions arise. She located a nursing/rehab facility just seven minutes from our home. Max will be coming home after two weeks in Fairfax Hospital and then is over a month in the Burke Health and Rehab Center (He fell down a full flight of stairs at home and broke seven ribs, his shoulder blade, a vertebra and had a hematoma on his forehead.). He will be discharged soon to home care and Katie is helping prepare me for the road ahead with BrightStarCare and Heartland Hospice. So grateful for her help!
