I recently began service with BrightStar Care for my husband who has Alzheimer's. The first visit with the staff included an assessment from a nurse. Based on the care plan written by the nurse, a caregiver was then selected that matched our needs. Brian D. has been wonderful! The agency impressed me with the care and professionalism they took in getting us the help that we needed!

Our family is incredibly grateful for the care and compassion BrightStar has provided to our dad during such a difficult time. Janice and Kassi especially have treated him with patience, dignity, kindness, and genuine warmth every single day. What has meant the most to us is knowing he is in such caring hands when we can’t be there ourselves. The small moments of conversation, comfort, and human connection has made a lasting impact not only on him, but on our entire family.

BrightStar was a good alternative to Rehab, which wasn’t an option. Tanya was very accommodating in scheduling, as I didn’t know how much care I would need. There were too many hours initially, and Tanya was willing to change the schedule to meet my needs. Caregivers were all professional and on time, and willing to walk when that was my major request. Chyann stood out because she was both a good listener and intuitive about what needed to be done. She made good suggestions, reminded me to use the walker and helped with laundry, Swiffering the floor, reading the Slocum guidebook of what I needed to do, and was overall very friendly and helpful. Thanks to both Tanya and Chayann for making my experience with BrightStar a good one.

I currently work for BrightStar and they are a great company to work for. I decided to attend CNA school and they worked my schedule so I could stay work part time. The owners Jennifer and Mark really do go above and behind for their employees and clients. Great staff in the office, kind nurses. Consider applying or having a family member being provided high quality care.

I began BrightStar service the third week of July, 2025, and have been impressed with the competent and personable service of each caregiver. Savannah, Natalie, Ashlee and Emily have taken other shifts or positions, but I greatly appreciated each one when they were coming. Now my regular helpers are Donna and Rachel B. with Rachel the star who handles the evening shift 4 days a week with competence and initiative. I appreciate her very much. I’m glad Donna is able to take two noon shifts and an evening session. She is greatly appreciated, too . Janice and Kaela are newer helpers, and Melissa has come a couple times. They pitch right in and follow the care plan. BrightStar personnel are exceptional in my opinion.

I’m a very a satisfied and happy BrightStar client! Rachel B is especially helpful and kindly takes initiative. Savannah also has come often and handles my needs well. The caregivers are all personable and very caring women. I also appreciated nurse Stephen’s assessment visit and offering BrightStar’s on-going quality care. Besides Rachel B and Savannah, I very much appreciate Emily, Ashlee, Ann, Angel, Keely, Shasta, Rachael C, Stacy, and Muna. Brightstar was my first experience with in-home care.  My first goal was to be very clear about what my  needs and goals were, which they understood. I truly believe this organization has an understanding of what you need, but keep a medium of the mind when the contract is signed. Advocating for yourself begins with in initial interview. Mark is one of the owners who went above and beyond. Getting high protein vegan recipes, which was important to me. its also important to state what support you expect. You must voice what you like and do not like, and the characteristics of the caretaker. My experience is that they work very hard to meet their request. The caretakers at night were Karen L, and the daytime caretakers were Kaleb, Savannah, Shelby, and Emily. They were quick and a very good company. I felt safe and secure. I have two dogs , and they were great with my dogs. After two weeks with Brightstar employed, I can say I recommend them to be able to tailor services to your needs. You are paying top dollar for your service; they can deliver.
