We’ve just recently decided that we need more care for my husband. After meeting with care agencies we decided on Brightstar and have been happy with our introduction to having a caregiver in our home. The Brightstar staff has been so helpful in guiding through this process and helping us with our insurance requirements. BrightStar has done a great job for our family for almost 2 years helping us take care of our mother! Their work, staff, communications, care, assistance, professionalism, and even their paperwork are 5 stars! The caregivers for Mom have all been wonderful in an environment that changes daily! Mom loves Ileana & Natalie as they help her each week accomplish her daily tasks of living. These two ladies have such a great attitude, are helpful, pleasant, caring, especially compassionate, & go above & beyond to make Mom feel comfortable. BrightStar always has a professional staff member available on the phone 24 hours a day. That has been great for us. It is wonderful that Nurse Debbie is on staff & checks in on Mom & the caregivers; that brings us additional comfort while caring for Mom. Their whole staff is excellent! Meg does a great job with the weekly billings & is invaluable to help us with our insurance paperwork. Throughout my consulting career, I have spoken with thousands of agencies who provide skilled and non-skilled services and most of them are passionate about providing quality care, but there are some who go above and beyond this. BrightStar Care is one of them that goes above and beyond quality care. They embody exactly what this means. Their leadership keeps their ears to the ground, so they are always listening to what their caregiver and client needs are. From there, they find a way to meet those needs with the highest level of care wherever possible. I also met with the owner of BrightStar Care and learned of his deep compassion for people and how he infuses his passion with their skilled and non-skilled caregivers. How he is a visionary who is always in search of the best ways to provide even higher levels of service to his communities and how he simply loves people and genuinely wants to connect with them. Why is this so important in selecting an agency? Because with a little training most anyone can give care to someone needing home care services, but when an agency is able to take that care to a higher level because they are passionate and they dream of how to continually provide better care, not only does the person in their care do better, but the whole community does better as a whole. Add the additional layer of BrightStar Care wanting to connect with their community and this just sets them apart because it creates an open-door policy to an agency that will go beyond the standard level of care in everything they do, and a company culture that will naturally find a way to answer even the most challenging types of care at any hour.
I truly believe that anyone in the care of BrightStar Care is in the best care available to the area and I am very honored to have had the conversations I have with BrightStar Care and its owner.
