I recently had a health scare and didn’t have the greatest experience in the hospital. I needed at home care and BrightStar Care has been amazing. Juliana was my nurse for most of my at home care and I couldn’t have been happier. She was so thorough and caring. This experience of being in and out of the hospital was very stressful but Juliana was one of the positives that came out of my experience. I will always be very grateful for her because of her compassion, understanding and skilled nursing.

My family has been very happy to have Bright Star working with us to help care for our mother at home. The staff have been attentive and responsive and work to accommodate our needs and have helped us find caregivers that are the right fit for Mom. Khalisa is everything we were looking for in a caregiver! She took the time to understand who Mom is and work with her respectfully, attentively and genuinely. Mom now asks for Khalisa and has bonded with her and feels safe and comfortable even with the most personal care! Jamie is another gem who respects Mom as an individual and understands that it's not easy to accept help when someone feels vulnerable. We appreciate having Bright Star on our team in caring for Mom!

We have been working with Jamie from BrightStar for over 4 weeks now, and find her and the whole organization to be professional, competent and compassionate in the care they provide. My wife has Alzheimer’s disease, and Jamie is well equipped to deal with all the ways this has shown itself so far. She has quickly won my wife’s trust in even the most personal aspects of care, but can also be firm when needed, always with a steady and reassuring tone of voice. When my own medical issue pulled me away from our home on a Saturday, Jamie was available and willing to change her plans, even spending the night to ensure I would be able to care for my wife the following day.

The service provided by Lourdes has been excellent. She goes beyond expectations in caring for my husband and is very professional. Additionally Lourdes makes helpful suggestions to make his care a little easier for me. I also need to mention Megan who provides physical therapy twice a week. She is outstanding in encouraging my husband to regain his ability to walk. He is gradually getting better each time she comes. Five + stars to Lourdes and Megan.

My husband’s aide from Bright star of Clinton, NJ Jacqueline H. has provided excellent caregiving and personal care to my husband. She is highly professional, effective and efficient and has great communication skills and takes great care of my husband. She also does light household chores and laundry and at times helps me get my husband to doctor appointments. She has been invaluable to us in my husband’s disability and I can’t praise her enough and also the Bright Star agency for providing such excellent aides.

Brightstar is very accommodating to your needs & schedule. Worked with several RN & office staff always very pleasant. My aide Tay was a perfect fit for my husband's needs. She stays focused & always seeing what needs to be done. Tay takes her job very seriously. I know he's in good hands with her when I'm not home!!!

I reached out to Bright Star to help with my husbands recovery from major brain surgery. Miss Taye was assigned to our case and what a God Send and Blessing She is! There are not enough superlatives in any language to describe Miss Tayes unflagging devotion, compassion and healing skills. She has an uncanny ability to know when to slow down on my husbands exercises that she selected especially for him, to breathe correctly and take a rest . All of which keeps him feeling good about his progress and motivates him! Her knowledge base in physical therapy, nutrition and overall understanding of how the body works is way beyond her education level. We now unequivocally consider Miss Taye a part of our family after only a few weeks of her exceptional care.

The care from Bright Star was of the highest quality. The at home evaluation from the nurse, Anika, was very professional and she was extremely knowledgeable and pleasant. The physical therapist, Megan, was outstanding. She explained and assisted in the exercise program to do at home for my hip replacement, showed me how to get in and out of the car with ease. She was very professional and pleasant to work with. I would highly recommend Bright Star.

My first encounter with home care was as a high school student when I worked at my aunts’ agency. I was intrigued by the idea of healthcare being delivered at home instead of the traditional hospital or clinic. Years later, as a Doctor of Physical Therapy, working in the home setting, my fascination with the industry blossomed into a passion. I wanted to open an agency that brings exceptional and holistic home care to patients. However, it wasn’t until I got my married and moved to Clinton, NJ, that my husband encouraged me to purse my dreams. We investigated several service models before deciding on BrightStar Care because of their reputation and exceptional standards. We are proud to serve our community and provide our clients and families with the highest level of care.
