Our nurses aide Leilani has been helping my husband. She is such a wonderful, caring, and compassionate person. My husband is so happy to have her. This is our second experience with BrightStar and both times we have been so pleased with their services.

Just wanted to give a shot out to the fabulous service Maria provides. She’s always so friendly and responds right away even if I don’t leave a message. Hard to find employees with initiative, and great customer service nowadays. She deserves to be recognized for her professionalism!

This is my son's labtop I am using. My name is Jennifer Sakuma and my husband's name is Roland Sakuma. When my husband got paralyzed in 2015 from chest down to his legs, he couldn't do anything on his own. He went thru a lot. Today his upper body has improved although he cant use all ten fingers but now he can feed himself but not walk at all. Thru the Veterans Affairs this year we were able to get Brightstar Care to give us aide in giving my husband a bath,etc. I thank the Lord that I chose Brightstar Care as they have provided good services, accommodations and they have a wonderful staff whom I talked to over the phone and all of the people I have interacted they were so efficient to talk to and very friendly. Thru my experience with them I humbly recommend their agency to help people in need. They are so nice and accommodating that I highly recommend this agency. They are understanding an have the empathy to take good care of their clients. They are very professional and I trust the employee deeply as she takes good care of my husband and he is very very satisfied with this agency. Being that his fingers are slightly disfigured he cannot type or write; therefore I am writing on his behalf plus my own comments as I am here with them daily and I see the professionalism in the employee. As i said I thank God that I picked the best agency.

This is our current in 2024 of multiple visits to Oahu with caregivers from BrightStar. Chanda and Kris are both a joy to have with us and do a letter perfect job of helping me care for my stroke victim wife. My Papa went to a regular appointment at the VA Hospital and was admitted to Tripler E.R. Bright Star staffing made sure that my Papa was safe and nothing happen to him.Thank You Yumiko Fuimaono for all your hard work today with my Papa. and his safe return home from the Hospital we couldn’t have done it without your help .

My Grandpa had a spinal cord injury at age 80 years old. He served 30 years of his life in the military (Air Force Branch). He was paralyzed from the waist down with Bright Star services allowed him to get to all his appointments with the VA and helped with his daily ADLs. My grandpa is able to move his legs and feel his toes again because of Bright Star Care which was providing excellent care. My family couldn’t have done my Papa recovery processes alone . I wanted to personally thank the staff members Jasper, Sima , Maria, and Rachel(R.N). Without them, nothing would have been possible for my Papa. Very, trustworthy and responsible staff. I would recommend Bright Star for my loved ones.
