Monica has been a kind and consistent caregiver. She takes her time to make sure everything is done right. Always with a smile and thinking of her clients. We enjoy having her here. Lashonia is a very efficient caregiver. She never hesitated to do any work and in fact offered to do more. It was a pleasure to have her care for me.

Anissa showed up on time daily and spent 99% of her time with our Mom. She was very attentive to her needs and was always in an exceptional mood. She was a pleasure to have in our home. We will request her again if the need arises. Thanks Anissa for making one of the worst times in our lives more bearable. ❤️

My 93 YO MiL has been fiercely independent her entire life. Following an extremely difficult year, we found ourselves in a situation where she required immediate 24-hour in-home care, and BrightStar was a godsend! Jen listened intently to what my MiL needed and was able to assemble a wonderful team of caregivers starting at 7AM the following morning! While all of the caregivers were kind, compassionate and trustworthy, Iris went above and beyond to bring a level of optimism and positive energy that my MiL desperately needed. Also knowing my MiL was receiving outstanding care and support was a tremendous relief for my husband and me. I continue to sing BrightStar's praises and would highly recommend using their services.

BrightStar nurses, Dan and Mitch, provided extraordinary skilled care for my mother for several months. They went far above, and well beyond, with their attention to her needs every day. The family knew we could rely on their knowledge and training, and they instantly became an incredible resource for our family's questions and concerns. They took genuine interest in my parents lives, and their well being, at all times. As my mother approached her end of life journey, there was no question that we would engage BrightStar caregivers for round the clock, at-home care. Again, the level of skill and compassion from each of the ladies, especially Maddie, Alexis, and Naomie, who was with Mom in her final minutes, was such a blessing for all of us. Their attention to detail to keep my mother at peace was a true gift. Jen and the BrightStar scheduling staff are always working for you with a generous heart. Saying "thank you" seems insufficient for the work this team did for us.

On a Monday evening at 5 PM my sister Mary and I met Jen from BrightStar Care. After our first meeting, we felt confident in our choice of agency. Jen called and told me she had us scheduled out. With a new discharge date for my father, I undid our original plan. This was received graciously with a “No problem,” from Jen. As the discharge date drew closer, I learned that the help the hospital promised was not available to us. I called Jen in tears, feeling scared about the care needed and uneasy about providing it on my own. In a calm and confident tone, Jen assured me BrightStar Care could help. Again, “No problem.” She asked me all the right assessment questions so she could line up the right help. In a message I told Jen she was “Angie’s shining star!” Her care and dedication did not disappoint! She helped me make sense of meds, dressing changes, wound care, etc. upon our return home the first day. Jen affirmed my love for my dad and the care I was providing. Dan arrived for the next shift. He was also generous and an expert in his own right. He single-handedly was the reason we were able to positively effect a change in my dad’s bowel regimen and that there is a healing stage 2 wound. Dan, too, was a gentle and affirming presence in our home care - our lives! And may I add a note here. After our regular skilled nursing needs ended, both Dan and Jen checked in with me about my dad … and me! I am one of this BrightStar Care’s community supporters.

My mother has been living independently for years. However it has come time to get her a little help. Kelly from BrightStar has been everything we could have hoped for. Empathetic, caring, and understanding how difficult it is for my mother to accept help. We feel confident that our mother is in good hands.

Our neighbors engaged BrightStar Care for over a year. Their nurses cared for both husband and wife. They had such good results we engaged them to care for me when I needed my picc line cared for. Nurse Jen did a super job caring for me.
