I’ll start by saying.. I’m not a review person . Nurse Genisis .. I can Definitely understand how your company has a 5 star review! I’ve had tons of nurses come to my home for my MIL from several different companies ..None have come close to her when it comes to caring! Now it’s my turn! ( infusions) Genisis quickly became part of my family! She is such an inspiration and always uplifting . I’m so grateful to have her as my nurse! She is Definitely an asset to the company! Brightstar has been a lifeline for our family. My seven year old son has developed a relationship with his caregiver Lealani and gets so excited when she comes to take care of him. Having a nurse in your home can be awkward if it isn’t the right fit, but Brightstar has made sure we feel comfortable communicating our son’s needs and preferences. Lealani is a very experienced homecare nurse who understands the nuances of caregiving in the home. She is a great addition to our son’s life and is part of our family!

I've worked for just about every home care agency in Gainesville FL and this is the only one that matching caregivers with clients actually matters. While some other places give you a revolving door of caregivers, some times simply out of haste or convenience. BrightStar's policies and staff actually care if the client and patient are a good match. Not everyone has the same personality, and not everyone considers certain daily tasks common place, or to clean things a specific way because that's just how it's always been done in their home, and the staff here bother to find out what KIND of care you personally need or want for your loved one. It's also a very respectful, pleasant place to work.

Our experience with Bright Star Care has been wonderful! Nora, our caregiver, goes above and beyond with interacting with my husband. They take long walks on each visit, play Dominoes, work crossword puzzles, do word finds, work puzzles, play cards, and do PT exercises. Nora is engaged with Larry in activities on every visit. I can see him improving with her help. Also, Ray, who set up our program and put Nora and us together, is amazing. She is helpful, approachable, caring, and available to help and answer any questions.

BrightStar has been absolutely amazing! From the time I called to inquire about getting nursing care for my daughter up until today they have been great to work with. They stay on top of communication with us, are always asking for feedback if I have any. It has been such a blessing to have a nurse to help us out so I have some time to run errands and have a few moments to myself. If you are considering in home nursing agencies I would definitely recommend giving them a call!

BrightStar Care has been a blessing to me and Mom. Even when they were short staffed, they went above and beyond to ensure that Mom had care. Special acknowledgement to Ray for her willingness to jump in and do what’s necessary. Last, but definitely not least, the MVP of the team, Nicole. I can count on Nicole to pick up the phone no matter what time of day I call and to immediately resolve my concern. She’s even gone as far as coming out and covering shifts herself when unforeseen circumstances prevented the scheduled CNA from being there.

Our Story

We service patients from birth to geriatrics. We specialize in complex pediatric nursing care including patients with G-tubes, trachs and ventilators. We also service infusion patients in their homes including IVIG, Biologics, Alpha 1 deficiency, antibiotics, TPN and enteral feedings. Lastly, we service elderly clients in their homes providing multiple levels of care to include companionship, cooking, transportation and assistance with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, toileting, and transfers.
