At BrightStar Care of Salt Lake City, we take a different and better approach to home care. One way we do this is by having a RN Director of Nursing involved in the active oversight of our clients and the staff who care for them, regardless of state regulations. From competency tests for caregivers to RN supervisory visits in the home, having an RN overseeing every case contributes to creating and delivering a medically sound plan of care, a better experience, and ultimately, better outcomes.
While nurses support your loved one’s care, they also serve as consultants. Their background and training means they can provide services, resources, and education that keep you confident that your loved one is safe and in the right hands.
Our BrightStar Care Director of Nursing will:
- Answer questions about medical conditions and treatment
- Provide skilled medical services
- Help modify your loved one’s home to make it safer
- Provide assistance in coordinating medical services
A nurse-led home care team can go a long way in helping your loved one retain independence and live safely and comfortably in their home, as well as answer your questions and provide the support you need to care for them.
Every person and family we work with is assigned a registered nurse to lead their care team. This is what makes BrightStar Care different, because most private duty home care agencies do not have a nurse on their team.
