Aptly named, BrightStar appeared in the midst of our urgent interviewing process as I sought the best care possible for a dear friend for whom I assisted as medical proxy.. Delightful in presentation while thoroughly and professionally aligned with our needs for empathetic companionship and part time nursing care, BrightStar Care of Needham/Brookline, pulled together a remarkable and competent ‘crew of caregivers.’ Once back from a Cambridge nursing facility and settled into his Jamaica Plain home, my friend’s needs gradually demanded more medical supervision and care than expected, and eventually, hospice. Again, within an area both personally unfamiliar and emotionally confusing, BrightStar, was there, on-the-spot, with medical care, appropriate staffing, and collaboration with hospice providing 24 hour care. In addition, they were well versed in patiently educating me through what was happening (heart failure with on-set dementia) and what to expect. Regardless of the time or the urgency of my questions, this team addressed a myriad of needs both physical and emotional, skillfully. I am so grateful to have found and been guided by BrightStar Care of Needham/Brookline during this tumultuous time. They are ultimate care-givers both to those who are helplessly witnessing the demise of a loved one and for the one transitioning. On all levels BrightStar Care of Needham/Brookline is remarkable. I can not say enough good things about the staff at Bright Star. They are kind and caring and always there for our family concerns. My uncle Angelo is 97 and doing much better since the care of Bright Star. Hyndra our CNA is efficient and is on top of everything . The whole staff is great!

I have to speak about One of your staff that I had witnessed go over and beyond when providing care and comfort to her assigned resident . Samantha G. was easy going and understanding as her resident got used to having her around . Samantha has amazing bedside manners and all in all is just so compassionate and empathetic! I pray that if my mother needs a care taker in the future that she will find herself in the hands of someone like Samantha !

We recently hired BrightStar Care for my sister-in-law who resides in Newton. She has many medical issues and very poor mobility. I am so impressed with BrightStar 's professionalism and compassion. Rheana comes right in and ready to work. She helps her with bathing and putting on her compression stockings and with all her other needs. If I have any questions or concerns Bruno responds in timely fashion. Wonderful organization.

Since hiring BriteStar 3 months ago to help with my 81 yr. old Mother, I have been completely satisfied. All of the aides have been extremely accommodating and helpful. Each aide has made an effort to recognize her needs and assist her. I appreciate the communication and patience of Bruno, the owner, for helping my family through this stressful journey. He has made this next step caring for my mother more manageable with support from his agency.

I can't say enough positive things about Bruno and his team. My adult nephew, who has developmental, mental health, and autism challenges, is able to live independently with the exceptional care and support that BrightStar is providing. Bruno listened attentively to my needs, made a visit to my nephew to assess, and chose the perfect care giver. Both my nephew and I could not be happier with the changes for the better his care giver has made in his life. Bruno and his staff are responsive, compassionate, professional and very flexible with scheduling changes. I strongly recommend them.

Bruno and the entire team at BrightStar did an amazing job helping my dad transition home for rehab after a fall and hospitalization. I highly recommend them and they provided fantastic care to dad and support to the family.

BrightStar is fantastic! Hyndra has been such an amazing aide to my mom. I feel very confident that my mom is safe and cared for when she is with Hyndra. We recently had a cleaner who didn't organize my mom's clothes or wash them, and while my mom was out and about that day, Hyndra took the initiative to wash and fold her clothes and organize them into outfits for the week. She also takes my mom to get her nails done and truly goes above and beyond to enrich my mom's day! I've also noted that she's great at communicating updates, and communicates the right amount. So happy we went with BrightStar.
