This company is absolutely wonderful. They’ve been able to help me set up services for my grandmother. The intake process is so smooth. They have a Nurse Practitioner who oversees a plan of care. Everyone is so communicative, it has put myself and my grandmother at ease. My grandmothers caregivers are phenomenal! Ciara and Teoluda have both gone above and beyond in making a positive relationship with my grandmother and myself. They’ve gone the extra mile while with her and taking care of whatever my grandmother needs. Both of these caregivers are so caring and understanding. I couldn’t feel better about leaving my grandmother in their hands.

Brightstar has the loviest staff and nurses! I needed an RN for my mom who was very delicate as she is almost 80 and was released from the hospital after 15 days. My first call was with Dael who was super kind and friendly- she was the reason i called back- excellent customer care. Then the manager Miss Kirsten came out and my mom loved her and she was so patient and sweet. Kirsten made us feel so comfortable and she really cares. She spent a long time with us on a consult and really made us feel good about Brightstar. We loved Kirsten and trusted her that it was easy to sign up! We were assigned Linda W. an RN and she was outstanding - Linda is a beautiful person- she treated my mom so delicately and uplifted her spirts. Linda has been a nurse for a super long time and she knows alot! She did my mom’s IV fluid lines, monitored her bed sore and vitals and without her - i would not be comfortable with anyone else . We love Linda as She outshined the hospital nurses because she cares, is patient and kind. I am a health care administrator for the county and I know how this goes. I am so glad i found Brightstar, it is worth every penny! They are amazing and helped my mom tremendously ;)

After caring for my 94 year old Mother-in-law for 5 months following her cancer diagnosis and ileostomy surgery, I was able to acquire 24/7 caregivers while I took two separate two-week respite times to return to my home in northern California. Kirsten McGlynn was hired thru Brightstar Care to come as Mom's home care ostomy nurse twice a week while I was gone. From the first visit, Mom and I both felt Kirsten's friendly, caring and competent manner. She is knowledgeable of ostomy care practices and compassionate while providing care. I appreciate her concern for Mom's overall health, discussing it with her. She checks Mom's vitals, asks about her diet, pain, problems, etc. Kirsten and I keep in touch by texting with any issues she or I have concerning Mom's care while I'm away from her. In conclusion, I feel that Kirsten has all the qualities an excellent nurse possesses: knowledgeable expertise, compassionate patient care, communication skills and professionalism. I researched many agencies before selecting BrightStar in Huntington Beach. I was looking for the best in home care for my mother Frances. My mother is 91 years old and still very active. She does however need help in cooking her meals, grocery shopping, and help around her house and some fun outside activities as well. I was looking for a caregiver who is kind, compassionate, trustworthy. Someone who takes a special interest in my moms needs. Someone who wants to enrich another persons life. cece recommended the podcast keep me home longer and it’s a great podcast! in my own experience of helping my grandma throughout stay at home care, it was an experience where i wish i had more resources at the time. it’s very educational on how to stay healthy and safe at home.

Home care was very helpful and punctual. We enjoyed Charnetta's care and concern for my Spouse's memory issues.
