I had two weeks from the time my mother in law was discharged from HMC to when we decided that she would move in with me permanently. I needed assistance, especially with AM care and morning ADLs due to my limitations. I called Hunterdon Visiting Nurses, whom my mom has loved in the past, but they provide only a 3 to 4 hours a week between the disciplines (SW, PT, OT, RN). I needed more specialized care, consistently for about 4 weeks. They referred me to Bright Star, located in Clinton. Intake began with Tara from Brightstar coming to the Hunterdon Care Center Rehab to meet both my mom and myself, she reviewed what Brightstar provided and got releases and authorizations signed. From there, a few days later Mom was assigned a wonderful aide, Patrina. Mom was discharged on a Thursday, and by that following Monday she was being taken care of by Patrina. Patrina was so personable, went right to work and made mom feel safe and in good hands. Patrina's experience and knowledge was evident in the way she provided safe and thoughtful care. As mom became more mobile, Patrina took the initiative to do mom's PT exercises every morning with her, which made PT very happy and it showed in mom's increasing strength and stamina. We are ending our 4 weeks with Patrina and Brightstar tomorrow morning. We cant thank Patrina enough for her wonderful care and highly recommend Brightstar.

My dad had some medical issues last year that kept him in the hospital for several months. His life totally changed - he now uses a walker and cannot leave his apartment unassisted. I manage his care from out of state, and I cannot express what a relief it was to get BrightStar on board. Tara and Ayanna were incredibly friendly, helpful, and responsive to all of our questions. As my dad’s mobility improves, we are primarily using BrightStar for transport to medical appointments. I trust them to take good care of my dad and keep me posted as needed. Thank you SO much, BrightStar team!

Had a brief but amazingly positive set of visits with Jeanna. She was proactive, patient, and so caring with my friend. If we didn’t need to move her into assisted living then we would have done everything to keep Jeanna working with her! The entire process was supportive and kind from the first phone call through scheduling and billing. What a find to have locally. Thanks to the whole team!

Tara from Brightstar was wonderful, with helping us set up times for help with our mom. Unfortunately we did not use them, our mom passed away.

Wow! I can not say enough wonderful things about my experience with EVERYONE, I've spoken to at BrightStar. The team of people they have working there are friendly, courteous, compassionate and always so helpful and responsive. It has truly been a pleasure having this team and Dr. Jennifer on my side through a pretty difficult time. Just an awesome experience with this group!!!!

BrightStar Care staff ensured an excellent experience. The intake process was efficient and clearly explained by Tara. The assigned Caregiver, Stephanie, arrived on time, was professional, communicative and attentive, throughout the day. We would not hesitate to reach out to BrightStar Care for additional services!

My experience w/Brightstar Care has been nothing but positive. The office staff managed by Danielle, is both professional and friendly. My two HHA’s: Jackie Haag and Allison Scussel, again are, professionally capable and friendly. It’s been a great experience overall for me.

Jamie is caring for my Mom right now and I really like her. My mom likes her a lot too. She’s very attentive and makes my mom laugh. We couldn’t ask for a better caregiver.
