When my 89-year-old mother broke her ankle in December, BrightStar responded within hours, providing immediate support for both of us. Their guidance was exceptional, and every team member I encountered was kind, compassionate, and instrumental in my mother’s recovery. I couldn’t have navigated those first few weeks without them, and I am forever grateful for their support, care and dedication.

They have worked with me when I needed to change my mom’s care needs. The caregivers have been wonderful and caring. When my Mom spiked a fever they called the the EMTs which came right over and they stayed past their shift to make sure she was okay. The next day the caregiver took her over to the clinic and she was diagnosed with Covid. They got her new meds and made sure I knew what she got. All the caregivers were wonderful during her quarantine. Happy to say my Mom has had a full recovery. They also made me she was doing her home PT an OT. Because of their helping she has made great progress. Great team effort.

I needed short-term care for my husband on very short notice. The local coordinator, Kerry, was so very understanding, responsive to our needs, and “creative” in figuring out how they could help us at the end of the holiday season, with a 10-12” snowstorm on the way, my husband and I both with Covid, and me recovering from a recent knee replacement. We ended up with a live-in nurse for just two days - Marguerite - who was such a godsend! My husband wasn’t always cooperative, but she adapted as needed and had some good ideas about how to care for him. She also took care of me, helping me to rest up from the ordeal of the previous weekend so I didn’t relapse. She did anything that was necessary, including housekeeping chores and meal p preparation. In fact, it was hard to get her to sit still!

The Bright Star agency has been very in tune with my needs and the needs of my parents. Sophia, their patient liaison met with me for over two hours. Reviewed the plan I had put together and ensured it would be followed by the providers who came to our home Kelly, who is in charge of scheduling has been. fantastic.Due to unforeseen circumstances the schedule needed to be changed several times.Each time she accommodated my mother’s needs. The daycare providers have been fantastic. Especially Anna, she cares for my mother like she is her own.
I am very pleased with the services. I’ve been provided till this point.
